Curtin is seeking a skilled Senior Test Analyst to bring strong technical capability, curiosity and a quality-first mindset to a diverse portfolio of digital projects. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening the quality of Curtin’s digital experiences, combining exploratory manual testing with robust automation practices. Working within Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve test coverage, support defect-free delivery and contribute to the ongoing maturity of Curtin’s testing practices. Your responsibilities will include: Design and execute both manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing. Develop and maintain automation strategy and frameworks (Selenium, Katalon Studio, or similar). Lead defect tracking and contribute to continuous improvement in SDLC processes. Apply shift-left testing by engaging early in development cycles. Mentor junior testers and contribute to the team’s testing maturity. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across disciplines. Contribute to and align with best practices employed within the Testing team. Who we are looking (Selection Criteria): A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training. Strong expertise in both manual testing techniques and automation frameworks. Proficiency with tools such as: Selenium, Katalon Studio, JIRA, and AWS DevOps. Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. A proactive mindset with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable Experience in higher education or university environments. Awareness of non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, accessibility). AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
