Service Systems & Innovation Coordinator Make an impact at the University of Wollongong (UOW) - a purpose‑driven institution ranked in the top 1% of universities globally. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and improvement-focused professional to drive service enhancements across UOW’s frontline student services. As the Service Systems & Innovation Coordinator, you will use data, stakeholder insights and emerging technologies to improve student and staff experiences, while supporting operational excellence, strategic priorities and a culture of continuous improvement in partnership with the Manager, Service Systems & Innovation. Key responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end improvement pipeline, from identifying opportunities through to implementation and evaluation of outcomes. Analyse service performance data and stakeholder feedback to provide evidence-based recommendations for service enhancement. Identify opportunities to optimise service systems and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-assisted solutions, to improve service delivery. Build strong partnerships across Student Services, IMTS and the broader University to drive change and support successful adoption of new initiatives. About the Team The Service Systems & Innovation team is the intelligence and improvement function within Student Frontline Service. The team works across multiple campuses, service channels and stakeholder groups to ensure frontline services are efficient, consistent and responsive to student needs. As part of a small, high-performing team, you'll collaborate closely with service leaders, frontline staff, technical specialists and process owners to deliver meaningful improvements that make a tangible difference to the student experience. What You’ll Bring Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in business analysis, service improvement, service design, information systems or a related discipline. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data and insights into practical business improvements. Proven experience managing initiatives from concept through to implementation and evaluation. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across a complex organisation. Curiosity, adaptability and a genuine interest in innovation, digital technologies and continuous improvement. Role Details Employment type: Fixed Term, Full-time (ends 24 Dec 2026) Salary: Level 6/7 starting at $96,898, plus 17% superannuation Position Description Location: Wollongong Campus This position is not suitable for remote work in accordance with the UOW Remote Working Guidelines.
