Job Description

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Head of Researcher Education within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics. This role is part of the national operations team for Rinn Artificial Intelligence (Rinn AI), a national centre for research and innovation in data science and AI funded by Research Ireland. Rinn AI will train over 300 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in a diverse and interdisciplinary research environment. While based in UCD, the successful candidate will be responsible for the national Rinn AI cohort-based researcher training programme, serving as the strategic and administrative lead and overseeing the management and delivery of the programme across 15 higher education institutions (HEIs). The successful candidate will harness their significant senior administrative experience in people management, strategy development and project management to ensure the Rinn AI cohort-based researcher training programme realises its full potential. Salary Range: €80,000 - €90,900 per annum. Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 02/09/2026.
