Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Economics 561517 Canberra / ACT, ACT, Australia, 2601 Tenure Track Closing at: Dec 6 2026 - 23:55 AEDT Add to favourites View favourites Position Description Classification: Academic Level B or C Salary package: $124,638 - $166,338 per annum plus 17% superannuation Terms: Full time, Tenure Track Position overview The Research School of Economics at the Australian National University (ANU) is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Economics specialising in econometrics or empirical economic research, however any field of specialisation will be considered. The successful candidates must currently hold a PhD or have submitted a PhD in the discipline of Economics. The successful applicants will complement and extend existing research and teaching strengths within the ANU Research School of Economics and will be committed to high-quality teaching and excellence in research. Several tenure track positions are available. Tenure track appointments will be for an initial period of seven years, with the option of renewal or conversion to an ongoing position at the end of the initial employment agreement in accordance with the ANU Enterprise Agreement.
