Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a Full-time, fixed-term position as a Research Fellow - Technical Lead with the DenerVue project at the University of Galway, Ireland. This position is funded by the Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund and is available from December 1st 2026 to contract end date of April 30th 2028 DenerVue is a University of Galway medical device innovation addressing a critical unmet need in renal denervation (RDN). The project is led by Cosmin Gliga, Project and Commercial Lead, and is conducted under Principal Investigator Professor Faisal Sharif, Professor in Translational Cardiovascular Medicine and Innovation at the University of Galway and Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Galway University Hospitals. It originated through the BioInnovate Ireland fellowship programme with the aim of advancing the technology towards clinical adoption, regulatory approval and spin-out. Salary: Research Fellow salary scale €67,214- €87,743 per annum, and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts. Closing date for receipt of applications is 17:00 (Irish Time) on 8th September 2026. It will not be possible to consider applications received after the closing date.
