This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to applied health research activities across the Division of Dentistry within a dynamic and inclusive environment. The Division is home to Cochrane Oral Health, and a central aspect of the role will be supporting the delivery of high-quality systematic reviews that inform clinical practice, guideline development and health policy, helping to advance evidence-based oral health care. You will be responsible for: Strengthen evidence synthesis capacity within the Division through the conduct of high-quality systematic reviews. Support research impact, dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities, including through websites and social media. Support the development and submission of external funding applications. Contribute to teaching and assessment activities, as appropriate. Develop an independent academic trajectory, including applications for doctoral or postdoctoral fellowships. You should demonstrate: Essential Criteria: Hold, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in a subject relevant to applied health sciences or a related discipline, or possess equivalent research experience. Experience of quantitative research and research methodology. Experience of conducting Cochrane and/or non-Cochrane systematic reviews. Experience of critical appraisal and meta-analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical collaborators. Desirable Criteria: Experience of network meta-analysis and/or meta-regression. Experience of stakeholder or public involvement in research. Experience of authoring peer-reviewed publications.
