Program Manager – IDAM

About the Role This 16-month contract opportunity will lead the delivery of the University's Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Program, a major cyber security initiative aimed at modernising how users access systems and information across the University. Reporting to the Associate Director, Cyber Security, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple interconnected projects while working closely with stakeholders across the University and external partners. About the Team The Cyber team within Information Management and Technology Services (IMTS) plays a critical role in protecting and enhancing the University's digital environment. Working across the organisation, the team partners with academic and professional areas to deliver secure, reliable, and future-focused technology solutions. With a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, the team is leading several strategic initiatives designed to strengthen cyber security and support the University's long-term goals What You’ll Bring Experience leading complex programs or large-scale technology projects. Relevant program or project management qualifications, postgraduate qualifications, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience delivering cyber security, identity management, digital transformation, or enterprise technology initiatives. Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS platforms. Strong program planning, scheduling, governance, and risk management skills. Commercial acumen, including vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget oversight.
