Job Description
This is a temporary, 2-year full-time position for an Events Coordinator responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating Employer Information Sessions. Key duties include serving as the primary contact for employers, advising on brand exposure, and maintaining event records. Requirements include post-secondary education, 1-2 years of experience in events, operations, marketing, communications, or customer service, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education required
- university undergraduate degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in an events, operations, marketing, communications, or customer service.
- Experience in an administrative support role in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with a customer administration/database system, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, or administration system (i.e., WaterlooWorks) strongly preferred.
- Experience with unified communication platforms strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of employment processes, co-op programs, policies and guidelines preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in a mentorship role an asset.
About This Position
What does this position pay?
The advertised salary for this role is CAD 56,494.16 – 70,617.7. The final offer within the band depends on qualifications and experience, as set by University of Waterloo's enterprise agreement.
