Job Description
The University of Waterloo seeks a Director of Information Systems to lead the planning, design, and implementation of secure information systems and technology services. Key responsibilities include managing ERP systems, campus applications, and data infrastructure, alongside developing strategic relationships across the university. Key Responsibilities
- ○ Building strong collaborative partnerships with all campus units to meet the Information Systems needs of the university
- ○ Definition, implementation and maintenance of technical and system strategies, including managing the university’s many cloud-based vendors and services
- ○ Design and implementation of technical solutions to meet business requirements
- ○ Integrity of applications through defined QA, testing, and vendor management practices
- ○ Solutions design and consulting support to units across campus
- For selected programs and projects, the Director may engage the services of a Project or Program Manager to ensure successful delivery of cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent post-secondary education and/or experience required.
- 10-12 years of progressive experience with a proven track record of achievement and success within Information Technology.
About This Position
What does this position pay?
The advertised salary for this role is CAD 147,688.15 – 184,610.19. The final offer within the band depends on qualifications and experience, as set by University of Waterloo's enterprise agreement.
