About us Fixed Term (12 months), Full-time opportunity within Student and Academic Services Brisbane South (Nathan) based Responsibilities Functioning within Student Life, the Exams and Timetabling team specifically provides operational and administrative support and services to academic elements and students for all class timetabling, examination management, grade publication and student progression processes as well as assessment applications and room bookings. Working with the Timetabling Services team, you’ll be responsible for class timetabling for a group of schools, as well as supporting full class management and room bookings. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with academic and professional staff Deliver accurate class timetabling and room booking outcomes within agreed timeframes Independently resolve complex scheduling issues using specialised timetabling systems Develop optimal scheduling solutions aligned with University policies and priorities Ensure efficient and effective use of teaching spaces and facilities Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to streamline, improve, and automate processes Contribute to an enhanced student and staff experience through service excellence About you To be successful in the role you will have the demonstrated ability to: Experience in timetabling, scheduling, space management, or a similar coordination role Demonstrated ability to manage complex data and competing priorities with high attention to detail Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working with academic staff Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, including system‑based troubleshooting Experience using complex systems and databases (timetabling or scheduling systems highly regarded) Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a collaborative team Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and service quality What We Can Offer This is a fixed-term (12 months), full-time position primarily based at our Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University, you will be required to work across other locations. Salary Range The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range HEW Level 6: $94,966 – $101,295 p.a. + 17% superannuation. Requirements
