Guidance for International Applicants Apply Online Share Teaching Assistant About the role The Department of Economics is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant. In this role you will: assist within a teaching team and work within an established teaching programme under general supervision within the Department of Economics manage and deliver teaching activities and prioritise your own workload within agreed objectives to ensure that all activities are completed to set deadlines assess student progress and provide feedback to students, setting and marking assignments with appropriate supervision build on previous experience and use critical evaluation of professional practice to develop skills and knowledge communicate effectively with the teaching & learning team and show good team working. About the Department The Department of Economics at the University of Bath promotes a vibrant research environment through our dynamic research groups.  Following a recent restructuring exercise, research is organised through five main groups: (I) Macro, Money, and Finance (II) Microeconomic Theory , (III) Applied Economics: Labour, Education and Health (IV) Public and Political Economy and (V) Sustainable Development.
