Job Description
Victoria University is seeking a sessional TAFE teacher for their Electrotechnology team at the Sunshine Campus. Responsibilities include teaching, developing learning resources, and assessing students. Applicants must hold relevant electrical trade qualifications, an A-grade Electrical Licence is preferred, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Key Responsibilities
- As a TAFE sessional teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your trade experience with the next generation of students.
- You will collaborate with other teachers in developing learning resources for our courses, as well as training and assessing students, and maintaining accurate records.
- This is a sessional teaching position working primarily at our Sunshine Campus.
- Fostering a working environment that is respectful to all students and staff
- Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Contributing to the continuous improvement for the course by being involved with the design, development and validation of its training and assessment resources.
- Maintaining accurate course and student records according to organisational and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- You hold relevant and/or current electrical trade qualifications in the electrical industry – A grade Electrical Licence preferred.
- You hold a Training and Assessment qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) with Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401)
- and Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502, TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B)
- You are passionate about sharing your knowledge with the next generation of electricians and electrotechnology workers.
- You have the Willingness to continually learn and develop as a TAFE Teacher.

About This Position
What does this position pay?
The advertised salary for this role is AUD 98.34 – 98.34. The final offer within the band depends on qualifications and experience, as set by Victoria University's enterprise agreement.
