Social Sport Officer

We're looking for casual Social Sport Officers to provide supervision, administration support and customer service during Social Sessions and Competitions. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Social Sport Officer, your duties will include: Assist in the programming of Social Competitions, Social Sessions and other sporting events on campus. Handle customer complaints, escalate complaints to the Duty Manager or a senior staff member as required. Update and manage competition related administration through competition software. Provide first aid assistance during programs ensuring all first aid incidents are reported to the Duty Manager and relevant paperwork completed. Assist in the recruitment of referees and provide feedback on their performance to the Coordinator, School and Social Sport. Document participation and report on attendance numbers. Maintain equipment and report on missing or damaged equipment as soon as possible. Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 5:30pm-10pm and various times across the weekend. ABOUT YOU You are a passionate sports enthusiast dedicated to creating inclusive and exciting competitions for students and community members. Skills & experience Required: Demonstrated ability to supervise sporting activity and ensure participants safety. Demonstrated customer service experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and complaints in a respectful and timely manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. This role requires current WWCC, First aid certificate with CPR. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia.
