Base salary range: Level C, $149,909 – $172,441 p.a. plus 17% superannuation. About the area The School of Psychological Science at The University of Western Australia is internationally recognised for excellence in research, teaching and clinical training. Established in 1930, the School is home to more than 50 teaching and research staff and delivers world-class education to thousands of undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree research students. The School has strong research profiles in Clinical Neuropsychology, Work Psychology, Human Factors, Cognitive Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology and Social Psychology, and is home to the WA Centre for Road Safety Research. About the opportunity Provide academic leadership through high-quality teaching, curriculum development, clinical supervision and student mentoring across undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree research programs in Clinical Neuropsychology. Develop and lead an impactful research program, build national and international collaborations, publish in leading peer-reviewed journals and secure competitive research funding. Contribute to the leadership, governance and strategic development of the School while strengthening partnerships with health services, industry, government and professional organisations. About you PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology or a closely related discipline, or equivalent higher professional qualifications relevant to Clinical Neuropsychology. A strong track record of research excellence demonstrated through high-quality peer-reviewed publications, successful competitive grant funding and supervision of honours and/or higher degree research students. Experience designing and delivering high-quality university teaching, curriculum innovation, assessment and student learning outcomes in a tertiary education environment. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Board-approved supervisor status, or demonstrated progress towards obtaining board-approved supervisor status. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships, engage with industry, government and community stakeholders, and contribute positively to an inclusive and collegial academic environment.
