About the role This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting student success through expert advice and oversight of academic progress matters. As the Senior Adviser, Student Success (Progress), you will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring student academic progress matters are managed efficiently, consistently and with care. You will provide specialist advice, analyse complex information, and support informed decision-making across academic progress processes. Working closely with Faculty Academic Progress Committees and a wide range of stakeholders, you will contribute to fair, accurate and student-centred outcomes while identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery. In this role, you will: Provide expert advice and support on complex student academic progress matters. Analyse information and prepare recommendations that support consistent and informed decision-making. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with academic and professional staff across the University. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and service delivery outcomes. Coordinate and prioritise work to ensure timely, accurate and high-quality case management and support. About you We're looking for a highly organised and analytical professional who thrives in a complex environment and is passionate about supporting positive student outcomes. You will bring: A degree with substantial subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and expertise. Experience managing complex work and providing professional advice in administrative, educational or service-focused environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide insights. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
