Kiosk mode Research Management Officer Research Management Officer 560965 Canberra / ACT, ACT, Australia, 2601 Fixed Term Closing at: Aug 17 2026 - 23:55 AEST Add to favourites View favourites Position Description Classification: ANU Officer Grade 6/7 (Administration) Salary package: $100,847-$116,083 per annum plus 17% superannuation Term: Full time, Fixed-Term, until December 2027 Position Overview The Research and Innovation Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated Research Management Officer to provide expert advice and comprehensive support across a broad range of research management activities. Working within the Research Funding and Contracts team, you will support researchers and stakeholders throughout the research lifecycle, including research funding applications, contract and consultancy activities, compliance requirements, reporting obligations, and post-award administration. You will coordinate complex administrative processes, provide timely and accurate advice on policies and funding requirements, monitor research data integrity, and contribute to the continuous improvement of research management practices. This is a collaborative role that requires strong relationship management skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service to academic staff and internal stakeholders. The Department Research Funding and Contracts provides specialist support and advice to researchers and professional staff across the University. The team assists with funding and contract applications, research compliance, reporting requirements, and the administration of externally funded research projects. Through strong stakeholder partnerships, the team supports the delivery of high-quality research outcomes and promotes best practice research management across the University. The Division The Research and Innovation Portfolio provides leadership, governance and strategic direction for research, higher degree research, innovation, commercialisation and research support activities across the Australian National University.
