Research Assistant (Microbiology & Immunology)

The National University of Singapore seeks a Research Assistant for its Immunology Translational Research Programme. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, procurement, safety protocols, and core facility administration. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess strong organizational skills, with experience in research administration or laboratory operations being advantageous.

• Managing day-to-day core operations including equipment inventory control and procurement support
• Assisting in biosafety, chemical safety and waste management processes
• Maintaining compliance with Singapore and NUS regulatory requirements, contributing to the programme safety audit performance
• Coordinate core facility operations, equipment usage and billing administration with the programme manager
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by programme director

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba systems, grant administration, and institutional procurement processes will be advantageous
• Meticulous, resourceful, and highly organised individual with good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Prior experience in research administration and/or laboratory operations
• Good interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
