Research Assistant [LKCMedicine]

This Research Assistant position at LKCMedicine will support research focused on ageing patterns in Asian populations and their disease mechanisms. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily research project execution, managing laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with institutional requirements. A Bachelor's degree in a life science field is required, with prior experience in research coordination or administration being advantageous.

• Coordinate and monitor the research projects, including timelines, milestones, deliverables and supporting documentation
• Track project progress and identify delays or operational issues, following up with relevant team members to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project, research and laboratory records to support grant reporting, audits and compliance requirements
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including management of equipment, research materials, samples, procurement and inventory
• Coordinate meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes, consolidation of project updates and follow up on action items
• Ensure compliance with institutional requirements, research agreement and governance, laboratory safety standards and relevant ethical approvals

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in research project coordination, laboratory management or research administration would be advantageous
• Good organisational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as a team player
