Job Description
The University of Hong Kong seeks a Part-Time Research Nurse for its Phase 1 Clinical Trials Unit. Responsibilities include clinical trial coordination, volunteer recruitment, study procedure execution, data management, and communication with research teams. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with research teams and internal/external collaborators
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be responsible for clinical trial coordination and operations
- Execute study procedures, data collection and documents management, medical emergency management, facilities management and quality management
Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
- A minimum of 1 year’s nursing experience is preferred
- Good interpersonal, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality and compliance
- Detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to multitask
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Both Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Candidates with the following qualifications will have an advantage:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and a venipuncture certificate
- Experience in clinical trial operations and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Experience in using electronic devices (e.g., tablets and computers) for efficient and accurate clinical data capture.
- The appointment will be made on a part-time temporary basis on a six-month contract, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
