Discover more via our website. Your next career opportunity: You will manage flagship public health programmes across MDU PHL and the Centre for Pathogen Genomics. You will coordinate AusPathoGen, CDGN and related networks to embed pathogen genomics into national surveillance and response. You will engage Australian CDC, health departments and regional partners, shaping impactful public health policy and practice. What you will deliver: Lead planning and delivery of public health initiatives, including workplans, governance structures, documentation and strategic funding opportunities. Manage relationships with Australian CDC, Commonwealth and state health departments, funders and public health networks. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects, organising meetings, workshops, technical activities and high-quality reporting outputs. Oversee programme compliance with funding agreements, including reporting, evaluation, budgeting, finance tracking and communication requirements. Support grant applications, stakeholder engagement and supervision of project management staff to expand public health activities. Demonstrate success managing large-scale public health projects with complex, multi-jurisdictional stakeholder environments. Build effective relationships with government agencies, health departments and public health networks to progress shared objectives. Produce high-quality briefings, reports, proposals and public-facing communications tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences.
