This is a 12-month graduate program for recent Māori graduates within the University of Auckland. It offers permanent employment from day one and involves four tailored rotations across professional departments to explore various career paths. Requirements

  • We're looking for curious, motivated graduates who are excited about exploring possibilities and discovering where their strengths can make the greatest contribution.
  • Have recently graduated, or be due to graduate, with a bachelor's degree or higher from Waipapa Taumata Rau.
  • Be open to new experiences and opportunities.
  • Enjoy learning, collaborating and trying new things.
  • Be interested in professional, personal and cultural growth.
  • Bring initiative, curiosity and a willingness to contribute.
  • Fluency in Te Reo Māori is not required. What matters most is an openness to learning, growth and continuing your journey as a Māori professional.

What does this position pay?

The advertised salary for this role is NZD 70,145 – 70,145, plus 6.75% employer superannuation. The final offer within the band depends on qualifications and experience, as set by University of Auckland's enterprise agreement.
