Key Responsibilities
- Are you passionate about helping students succeed while building strong partnerships with employers? Join our Faculty of Science Placements Team and play a pivotal role in connecting students with placement opportunities across the UK and internationally.
- This is a varied and rewarding role where you will build on and manage a portfolio of placement opportunities, work closely with academic departments, and build relationships with organisations across industry, commerce and the public sector.
- You will support students through every stage of the placement journey, from developing employability skills and securing opportunities to monitoring their progress and celebrating their achievements.
Requirements
- We are looking for an organised, proactive and highly skilled communicator, preferably with some background in one of our disciplines, who can confidently engage with students, academics and senior external stakeholders.
- You will be adept at managing multiple priorities, solving problems, delivering presentations and fostering collaborative relationships.
- Experience of employer engagement, higher education or student support would be highly advantageous.
