Read more about NIE here . NIE invites suitable candidates for the position of Executive with the Public, International and Alumni Relations (PIAR) department . Responsibilities The Executive supports NIE’s institutional communications and stakeholder engagement efforts across hospitality relations, media relations, and integrated marketing. The role contributes to delivering meaningful guest experiences, strengthening NIE’s public visibility, and supporting branding and alumni initiatives through coordinated communications and operational support. Media Relations Assist in pitching story ideas to local and international media to raise NIE’s visibility and profile. Support media engagement activities including responding to queries, issuing media releases, and coordinating interviews. Track media coverage, compile reports and analyse performance metrics to inform communication strategies. Hospitality Relations Support the management of official visits to NIE, contributing to guest experience and institutional relationship-building. Assist in the operations and visitor experience of the NIE Visitors Learning Centre. Support the organisation of graduation ceremonies including guest coordination, video production, and reception arrangements. Assist in Institute and University-level events and engagements as required. Integrated Marketing & Alumni Relations Work with the social media team to ensure content is accurate, current and engaging across platforms. Assist NIE departments with branding and marketing needs, including coordinating print, digital or motion production for institutional campaigns. Support the preparation and submission of corporate reports to key internal and external stakeholders. Assist the alumni team in implementing engagement strategies and supporting alumni programmes and activities. Requirements A polytechnic diploma in Business, Communications, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field. Prior experience in hospitality management, marketing, media relations or event operations in an agency will be an advantage. At least two years of working experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Good organisational and project coordination skills, with attention to details. Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines. Interest in communications, hospitality, branding or alumni engagement. Familiarity with digital tools, social media platforms and basic content development is essential. Closing Date The closing date of the advertisement is 18 September 2026 .
