Executive Officer in the Division of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry

The University of Hong Kong seeks an Executive Officer for the Division of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry to provide comprehensive administrative support and lead junior clerical staff. Key responsibilities include managing academic curriculum, research, clinical teaching, HR, finance, and secretarial duties. Applicants need a Bachelor's degree, at least three years of administrative experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in English and Chinese.

• The appointee will play a versatile role in leading junior clerical staff and providing comprehensive administrative support to the Division in a wide range of areas, including academic curriculum, research, clinical teaching, human resources management, financial administration, and secretarial support to the Division Chief and other professoriate staff, as well as performing other duties assigned by supervisors.

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably gained in tertiary education institutions
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• A mature and proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
• Attentive to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software
• An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Previous secretarial experience is preferred
• Experience in educational event management and a willingness to undertake related duties are advantageous.
