ETH AI Center Post-Doc Fellowship 2027 100%, Zurich, fixed-term 23.09.2026 | Partnerinserat | ETH AI Center

This is a Post-Doc Fellowship at the ETH AI Center focused on interdisciplinary AI research. Fellows will propose and conduct their own AI research projects, co-mentored by two PIs from different fields. Applicants must hold or be close to completing a PhD in an AI-related field or computer science, physics, engineering, or applied mathematics, and possess strong English communication skills.

• Within the post-doctoral fellowship program, you will conduct research that impacts the future of AI.
• You will be working on your project (that you will propose) and continuously have the opportunity to exchange with other teams and professorships, and participate at faculty retreats, symposia, summits, etc.
• The center offers plenty of opportunities to strengthen your career path through an optional entrepreneurial or industry track that provides you with valuable hands-on experience to turn your research into practical impact.
• A post-doc is experienced by many as a great stepping stone into R&D lab leadership in industry, a start-up or a faculty position.

• You either already hold a PhD or will complete your doctorate at least 3 months before the beginning of the fellowship program (latest by June 2027)

• We offer 8 - 12 post-doctoral positions and the occupation normally runs for two years.
