Responsibilities Griffith Health Clinics provide high-quality primary healthcare services while supporting the education and training of the next generation of health professionals. Based at Warwick, we are seeking a Dental Assistant to support students and staff in delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities for this role will include: Assist staff and students across a broad range of dental treatments and procedures. Prepare patients for treatment and support clinic operations, working autonomously and using initiative to manage day-to-day responsibilities effectively. Maintain clinical hygiene and adhere to infection control protocols. Provide administrative and reception support. Uphold university values and comply with policies, health and safety requirements, and professional About you To be successful in this role, you will hold: An Australian Dental Assistant qualification or recognised equivalent is highly desirable. Current CPR/First Aid Certification from a recognised provider. Current Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain). In addition to the above, you will demonstrate: Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work under supervision and contribute to efficient clinic operations. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. A commitment to patient care and student learning. What we can offer This is a full-time, fixed-term position until October 2027, based primarily at Griffith University’s Warwick location. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $76,126 - $80,321 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $89,067 - $93,976 per annum.
