  • You'll be part analyst, part problem-solver and part systems specialist. One day you might be developing a dashboard that helps leaders identify emerging trends
  • the next, you could be supporting colleagues to get the most from a key system, investigating a data challenge, or contributing to a project that streamlines processes through automation and AI.
  • We're looking for someone who is genuinely interested in how data can support better decisions and better services.
  • You'll have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the University, contribute to strategic projects and help build a culture where evidence, insight and continuous improvement are central to everything we do.
  • Most importantly, you'll see the impact of your work. The insights you generate and the systems you support will help shape services that affect thousands of students throughout their time at Surrey.
  • This is a full time hybrid role, with an expected 2 days per week working from our Stag Hill campus (one to be Tuesday) and the rest working from home.

  • You may already have experience in a data, systems or business analysis role, or be looking to take the next step in your career. What matters most is your ability to think analytically, solve problems and communicate effectively with a wide range of colleagues.
  • We're particularly interested in candidates who are naturally curious, enjoy learning new technologies and are excited by the potential of data, automation and AI to transform services.
  • You'll have a strong eye for detail, take pride in producing accurate work and be motivated by finding opportunities to improve the way things are done.
  • If you're someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values continuous improvement and wants to make a tangible difference to the student experience, we'd love to hear from you.
  • You'll join a supportive and forward-thinking team that is passionate about improving outcomes for students.
