Job Description
This is a Teaching Assistant position for ESL 160, the uOttawa English Experience course, held in person during Winter 2027. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation and delivery, facilitating student-centered, task-based group work, and reporting on class activities. Applicants must have excellent English, the ability to explain English grammar and vocabulary to second language learners, and prior ESL experience is an asset.

Requirements
- classroom multimedia experience is an asset
- excellent command of the English language
- interview may be required.
- Capacity to facilitate group work through a student-centered, task-based learning approach and to explain the English verb system, sentence structure, and academic vocabulary to second language learners. Previous ESL training and classroom experience is an asset
