Job Description
This part-time Communications Assistant role supports UBC's Public Humanities Hub with content creation and event promotion. Responsibilities include developing social media content, newsletters, website updates, and public-facing research materials. Applicants need demonstrated experience in digital content creation, event promotion, and strong writing and design skills.

Requirements
- Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Experience in photography, videography, graphic design and editing
- Experience in writing and editing humanities research materials
- Experience in writing / creating digital content for a variety of media and audiences (including social media)
- Strong time management skills
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent software and tools
- Experience working with WordPress/HTML an asset
