Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within designated areas
- Emptying general waste and recycling bins
- Assisting with the movement of furniture, equipment, and deliveries
- Supporting room setups for events, meetings, and teaching activities
- Responding to reactive requests from building users and facilities teams
- Ensuring the safe handling and storage of materials and supplies
- Providing a visible, helpful, and approachable presence for students, staff, and visitors
- We are seeking a full-time cleaner-porter, on a fixed term contract to cover maternity, to join our friendly, supportive, and professional Campus Services team.
- No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of our campus by undertaking a range of cleaning and portering duties, including:

The typical working pattern is 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00am–12.48pm, with some weekend working on alternate weeks.
