The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection is the commercial arm of the world-leading University of Edinburgh, which includes the conference and events team. We provide a professional operation across a broad portfolio of conferences, meetings and events, from major international conferences to day meetings and prestigious dining events (circa 2,000 events annually), held at venues across the University’s portfolio. Additionally, the team operates a large Outside Catering and Delivered Hospitality service to university buildings and to private and corporate locations across the city. The Opportunity: Main responsibility of this role is to lead a team of Catering & Events (C&E) Supervisors in the delivery of catering, events, food and beverage services by providing daily operational guidance, ensuring that standard operating procedures are followed and being accountable for the quality of service provided. The Catering and Events Operations Team Leader has a vital leadership role within the wider catering team, with significant responsibility to deliver successful events and ensure our long-term success and sustainability.
