Our Waurn Ponds Estate hospitality team is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to support the day-to-day operations of our kitchen team. Reporting to the Chef in Charge, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and efficient kitchen while assisting with food preparation and service. Your key responsibilities will be to: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards Washing and sanitising dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Clean and maintain kitchen floors, including sweeping, scrubbing and mopping Keeping the kitchen, dish area, and storage areas clean and organised Organise and maintain pantry shelving Remove hard rubbish and kitchen food waste using our closed-loop compost machine Assist with basic food preparation and food service tasks as required Adhere to health and hygiene standards at all times To be successful, you'll have: Minimum 6 months experience in food preparation and or food service Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach The role requires the incumbent to apply and maintain a Working with Children Check Availability required between 9.30am to 8.00pm To apply please submit your updated CV.
