Job category/type Academic Attachments Blank Job description About the job: Queen's Business School (QBS) at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) is currently seeking to appoint one or more exceptional candidates to the post of Lecturer in Finance / Financial Analytics. Successful candidates will be based in India at QUB’s GIFT City Campus - https://www.qub.ac.uk/india/ - and will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of QBS and the GIFT City Campus from both a research and teaching perspective. Our supportive research environment enables attendance at international conferences, facilitates the pursuit of high-quality publications and fosters meaningful engagement with non-academic stakeholders. The appointed candidates will get the opportunity to interact and work with colleagues whose research is internationally renowned for excellence and societal impact. About the person: Successful candidates’ application should clearly demonstrate: A completed PhD (or very close to completion in Finance / Financial Analytics or cognate disciplines. An established programme of research activity and dissemination of original, high-quality research in Finance / Financial Analytics in line with accepted norms for a Lecturer. A sustained track record of high-quality peer reviewed Finance / Financial Analytics publications as appropriate to norms for a Lecturer. Evidence of the ability and willingness to teach modules at university level in one or more of the following areas: Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, Financial Data Analytics, Trading, Banking, Financial Modelling, Derivatives, International Finance, FinTech. Demonstrable ability to advance the teaching and research goals of QBS. This is not an exhaustive list.
