Key Responsibilities
- The Bistro Assistant will provide excellent counter service
- The Bistro Assistant will help support squad delivery
- The Bistro Assistant will maintain Bistro facility cleaning at all times
- The Bistro Assistant will work to upsell Bistro items
Requirements
- Well-developed interpersonal skills,
- Demonstrable professional and proactive approach,
- Experience of operating relevant catering and/or cleaning equipment
- These are the criteria on which the short-listing and recruitment selection will be made.
- Demonstrable ability to speak and understand English in order to follow verbal and written instructions and deal with customer/student queries
- Demonstrable excellent customer service
- Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a pressured environment
- Experience of working within a similar catering and/or cleaning environment
About This Position
What does this position pay?
The advertised salary for this role is GBP 24,546 – 24,699. The final offer within the band depends on qualifications and experience, as set by Heriot-Watt University's enterprise agreement.
