Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and implementation of funding and partnership strategies that enhance the visibility, utilisation, and long-term sustainability of UWA’s research infrastructure portfolio.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with academic and professional staff, as well as industry government, and other partners to identify, scope, and progress collaborative opportunities.
- Provide strategic analysis and advice to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement across the research infrastructure portfolio.
Requirements
- Note : As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to complete declarations in accordance with the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in business development.
- Demonstrated experience in cultivating productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including academic and professional staff, as well as industry and government representatives.
- Demonstrated experience in providing successful service-oriented administration of complex funding programs or development initiatives.
- Demonstrated understanding of how research is conducted within a university environment, including knowledge of appropriate funding opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to analyse challenges, identify solutions, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
