Our People Pathway (OPP) is a major programme delivering a new Human Resources Information Management (Workday) system across the University. We are seeking a Business Analyst to support delivery of this high-impact programme. The role | Te mahi This role sits within Our People Pathway, the University's Workday implementation programme, supporting the delivery of new people, process, data and technology capability across the University. Working across business and technical teams, you will analyse requirements, map processes and help translate business needs into practical Workday solutions. This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant enterprise transformation that will improve how staff experience core HR services. Work will include: •    Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements for Workday processes, integrations, data, reporting and user experience. •    Mapping current and future state processes and identifying gaps, risks, impacts and opportunities for improvement. •    Facilitating workshops and discovery sessions with HR, operational, technical and vendor stakeholders. •    Supporting configuration, testing, data validation, reporting and change readiness activities by providing clear analysis and traceable requirements. •    Working collaboratively across project workstreams to ensure business needs are understood, prioritised and reflected in Workday delivery outcomes. •    Maintaining alignment with Workday functionality, implementation partner guidance and the University’s programme objectives. Skills and Experience | Kā Pūkeka Me Kā Wheako We are looking for a Business Analyst who can bring structure and clarity to complex work, translate business needs into clear requirements, and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you will bring: •    A relevant qualification, certification, or equivalent experience in business analysis, project delivery, HR systems or digital transformation. •    Proven experience eliciting, analysing and documenting requirements and processes, with strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. •    A practical understanding of project delivery methods, including agile, hybrid or implementation-based environments. •    The ability to connect process, data, system and user experience considerations to support quality outcomes. •    Experience with Workday, HRIS, ERP or other enterprise system implementations would be an advantage. About our Team | Mō Te Tīma Transformation and Improvement support the University’s success through strong programme delivery and business process improvement. This multi-year programme spans HR, Digital, Finance and the wider University, offering the opportunity to contribute to a complex, high-profile transformation. Further details | Pūroko This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term (2 years), based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. The appointments range for this role is $85,057 to $92,174. Top of range $97,508. You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position.
