Assistant Lecturer/Demonstrator - Anatomy & Developmental Biology - Semester 1, 2027 opportunities at Monash University Job No.: 697544 Location: Clayton campus Employment Type: Part-time, fraction (0.75) Duration: 14-week fixed-term appointment Remuneration: Pro-rata of $86,195 - $116,981 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation) Amplify your impact at a world top 50 University Join our inclusive, collaborative community Be surrounded by extraordinary ideas - and the people who discover them The Opportunity The Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology within the School of Biomedical Sciences is seeking to appoint suitably qualified Assistant Lecturers/Demonstrators to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate classes (laboratory sessions and tutorials) as part of a team of Anatomy Sessional Educators, under the supervision of a senior member of staff in the Centre for Human Anatomy Education. The Assistant Lecturer/Demonstrator will contribute to academic activities, such as resource preparation, delivery of new class material, student marking and feedback, as well as attending additional training sessions and seminars outside of assigned class times. The commitment to our students’ education is paramount, and by having a strong demonstrator-to-student ratio, we can improve both experience and outcomes. Ideally, we are seeking someone with a clinical degree that includes substantial training in whole-body human anatomy (e.g., Medicine) or a Science degree with Honours, which must include a major (or equivalent) in whole-body human anatomy.
