Assistant/Associate Professor - Prosthodontics

The University of Alberta's School of Dentistry seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in Prosthodontics. Responsibilities include developing a research program, clinical and didactic teaching, and integrated private practice. Applicants must hold a DDS/DMD specialty degree in prosthodontics or equivalent, be eligible for licensure in Alberta, and demonstrate a record of or potential for scholarly contribution and teaching ability.

• The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop a viable and productive research program, for which start-up funds will be available.
• Applicants will have a record of, or potential for, scholarly contribution in the area of Prosthodontics, and evidence of ability to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate-level teaching.

• internal applicants will be given priority consideration based on minimum qualifications, or a combination of experience, skills, and abilities before external applicants are considered.
• Applicants will have graduated from an accredited DDS/DMD specialty program and have relevant postgraduate and clinical qualifications in the specialty of prosthodontics or an equivalent level as specified by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) and be eligible for licensure with the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA).
• Consideration will be given to applicants with a PhD degree and teaching experience in prosthodontics.
