Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in the following disciplines: · Design / Design studies · Integrated Design · Interdisciplinary Design · Design Ideation and Practices · Design Solutions · Design Education · Design Science · Product / Industrial Design · Graphics / Multimedia Design · Game Design · Interactive Design / Human-interactive Design · Mix-realities Design and Applications · Parametric / Algorithmic Design · Digital Fabrication · Digital Twinning · Design Engineering · Interior Design / Space Design · Any Design-related or Design Science related fields For more information about the department, please visit: https://itd.kfupm.edu.sa/ Job Responsibility 1. Teaching related courses at the program’s current and future academic plans and programs. 2. Conducting high standard research in fields related to design and design studies to enrich the profile of both the department and the faculty. 3. Leading and working as a team-player in the various department committees to achieve their required tasks successfully. 4. Developing and improving the department current and future programs, courses and other academic related plans. 5. Working and developing documentations for accreditation and other related required submissions. Qualifications Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. Degree from reputable institution, strong record of published research, experience in supervising research of graduate students, relevant teaching experience at the university level and have teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas. Candidates with established research and teaching credentials in Design-related or Design Science related fields are encouraged to apply and may be considered for a senior faculty position or chair professor.
